ABOUT US

Would you like to feel fully confident in performing spays and castrates?

After performing thousands of neuters we can teach you the easiest and safest techniques, you perform the surgeries start to finish and your confidence and skills will rapidly develop.

BITCH SPAY

You will learn how to perform the procedure through a 1-2 inch incision, how to tent the linear alba for a stab incision to enter the abdomen, tips on finding the uterus, differing ways of breaking the suspensory ligament (the most essential skill), ovarian clamping and ligating made far easier than the triple clamp technique, differing ways of transfixing the uterine stump, using the MIller's knot suture and the Aberdeen

CAT SPAY

Learn where to make the skin incision so the uterus is directly under and easy to find, shown how to ensure the peritoneum is broken giving an open window to grasp the uterus. Techniques to make accessibility to the ovary and uterine stump easier, how use of allis tissue forceps can help, when not to use the Miiler's knot suture

DOG CASTRATES

How to stabilise testicles for the initial incision, how to safely break off the tunic, avoiding the chance of post op complications like haematomas.

CAT CASTRATES

Differing techniques, how incising on the under side of the tunic can  be of benefit
